“I’m not going to do a garden next year.”
That’s what I keep telling my husband. Gardens are a lot of time and hard work. But when January rolls around, I know I’ll start planning. I know I’ll pull out my notes and garden layout from this year. I know I’ll start looking at seeds of new plants that I might want to add. And I know I’ll start researching those plants to find out how to best grow them.
What it comes down to is the harvest and tranquility of a flourishing garden make every ounce of that hard work and every second of the time spent, worth it. After a long day in the office, there’s nothing I enjoy more than walking in my gardening, digging in the dirt, examining and talking to my plants.
The thing is I love gardening. It’s in my nature.
