Nursery: Stage Two

I have happily planted my tomato seeds, a day earlier than expected. And with the planting of these little beauties, I was able to start my first set of plants on phase two of my nursery.

My mustard, rosemary, and chamomile have all grown large enough and healthy enough be moved from the germination/seedling greenhouse and onto the second shelf of the nursery. This section has a 6400K Sun Blaster horticultural light(T5HO) and more height to grow.

I am also extremely pleased that two of my three peppers sprouted yesterday! A Golden Treasure and a Jalapeno have emerged from their seed. This took me by surprise because it’s still quite early in the germination stage and because I’ve never been able to successfully germinate pepper seeds.
